2022. Hoya has made several changes to their filter ranges that they are calling "renewed". The only change is the name, packaging and price. Fusion One Next is the same as Fusion One and Pro1d. The "new" Next line up includes UVs Polarising and Protector filters. Coming March April 2022.
Hoya have been making camera lens filters for decades so it is no surprise that the Hoya UV filter range is superb quality and represents value for money. Hoya UV filters come in different qualities but at Cameras Direct we only stock the top 3 Hoya UV Filter ranges. They are the entry level (from our point of view) Hoya HMC UV Filters (HMC means Hoya Multi Coat), The most popular for the serious photographer is the Hoya Pro1d UV Filter range that has more coatings than the cheaper Hoya HMV UV's and then the top of the line, the Hoya HD UV Filters. HD stands for high definition. Hoya HD UV Filters have even more coatings than the Hoya Pro1d UV Filters and are chemical hardened or toughened if you like. The Hoya HD UV filter is easier to clean that the other UV Filters and in the long run will last longer.
Hoya Filters are available in several types and prices. The most common are Hoya HMC UV, Hoya HD UV, Hoya Pro1d UV filters
